JM In-Tech uses Daffodil DB to deploy e-office suite
Daffodil DB helped JM In-Tech to explore the benefits of a platform-independent Java RDBMS and minimize their investment in IT resources. Being a fully-featured small-footprint database, Daffodil DB delivered high performance to the application (e-office suite) with minimum resource usage.

The Situation
JM In-Tech wanted to develop an office-automation application that could help realize their paperless office concept and provide users with direct access to information; irrespective of their location. This would enable organizations to harness the full potential of digital, internet, and document management technology and lead to greater efficiency and productivity.

As a consequence, the e-office suite was conceived to provide the basic operational structure of any regular office management software without the requirement to program applications or to outsource from other vendors.

The Challenge
The challenge was to design a comprehensive solution that could meet the office automation needs of all kind of organizations at a minimum cost. JM In-tech wanted to develop an application, which fell under the Integrated Collaborative Environment (ICE) group of products, and facilitated the seamless flow of information throughout the organization.
