Bringing extensive experience of technology and client side experience, Daffodil's management team blends expertise with an ambitious vision to provide ongoing direction to Daffodil. As most of the key management personnel have been associated with the company since its early years, they carry a comprehensive understanding of the organizational dynamics as well as the operating sector.

At the same time, these industry veterans have risen through the ranks following a sound growth curve. As a result, they have spent a good number of years in more executional roles, and hence possess immense knowledge about various technologies and platforms. Well traveled and globally aware, these professionals are able to deliver critical insights, enable best practices and lead the team with agility and sharpness.

Yogesh Agarwal

Founder and CEO, Daffodil Software Ltd.

As one of the founding members and CEO of Daffodil Software Ltd, Yogesh plays an instrumental role towards defining the company strategy and processes. Passionate about technology and innovation, he thus delivers significant value to Daffodil, counted amongst the earliest software product companies in India with its inception in 1999.

Yogesh was the astute driving force as Chief Architect and Product Manager when Daffodil launched its first product in 2003 - a Java RDBMS christened Daffodil DB. Under his able guidance and leadership, the first internal release of Daffodil DB happened within 6 months and successfully passed comprehensive test suite to pleasantly surprise Sun Microsystems.

He was involved with another breakthrough achievement in 2006, when he led the conceptualization and development of Daffodil Replicator - a synchronization tool for bidirectional merging of heterogeneous databases in Java. Under his able mentorship, Daffodil launched its service division in year 2005, which has registered a tremendous growth in team strength, cruising from 25 to 150 developers in just over 4 years. Boosted by their expertise, the division delivers cutting edge services to more than 100 customers across 20 countries.

Yogesh's recent brain child is Applane - an AJAX based Rapid Application Development (RAD) tool for developing complex business applications without a single line of coding. Daffodil has successfully developed applications on Applane which include CRM, HRIS, Task Manager and an ERP solution aimed at Educational Institutions.

Before incorporating Daffodil, Yogesh had proved himself as a valuable professional during his stint as Manager (IT) at DARCL Ltd. - one of the leading logistics company in India. His contributions include the development of an ERP system that continues to impart efficiency and effectiveness to the company even today.

His professional accomplishments stand on a sound educational foundation, as Yogesh is equipped with a degree from the reputed Kurukshetra University.

Beyond the office, Yogesh is a passionate sports person with keen interest in Squash and Badminton. Having carved an eminent position in the Industry at a young age of 35, Yogesh lives in Gurgaon with his wife Mahima.

Parveen Aggarwal

Director and Head - ECM Division

A member of the Board of Directors, Parveen heads the ECM division at Daffodil while also serving as a Director on the Board of Daffodil Middle East FZC, Daffodil subsidiary operating in Middle East region.

Having joined Daffodil in November 1999 as a Software Engineer, Parveen has held several technical and management positions since then. His first set of achievements consisted of delivering significant value towards the development of Daffodil DB, a Java based RDBMS, and other solutions in Products division. In 2003, he assumed the critical responsibility of heading IT project deliveries in the newly incepted Services Division. Quickly adapting himself to the role, he acquired sharp skills across .Net, PHP and other technologies during this stint. Under his astute leadership, the Services division has grown from team strength of 25 to a boisterous 100+ in a short span of 2 years.

In 2007, he was given the charge of ECM division, and specifically, delivery of associated projects. Foraying ahead with Parveen at the helm, ECM division has built a diverse and robust portfolio of offering, including all major products in the ECM domain such as EMC Documentum, Alfresco, Savvion, Cordys, HP-Trim etc.

As another glittering evidence of its success, the division has successfully completed 25 projects across verticals and customers, including many belonging to the elite Global 500 bracket.

Armed with a Computer Science and Engineering degree from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Parveen is supported by a sound educational grounding.

Nitin Goel

Director

Nitin holds the proud distinction of being the first employee at Daffodil, sharing a glorious relationship with the organization since 1999. One of his earliest areas of contributions includes the Daffodil DB JBDC driver, an application he worked on intensively during 2002.

Gradually, his interests veered towards Vines. As a result, he developed, maintained and enhanced three versions of the ERP between 2003 and 2007. Subsequently, he went on to work on some of the key modules for Applane EI. His endeavors also included delivering nice work on Drupal and GWT. Nitin is also credited with bringing about a new wave of diversification to Daffodil when he led the launch of new business lines - Mobile development using iOS and Training & Development Division.

Nitin holds a diverse skill set, which includes expertise with languages such as Java, PHP, Ruby, Objective C, a number of other technologies and a variety of CMS platforms.

Sachin Garg

Director - Strategy & Business Development

An invaluable member of the Sales & Marketing team since 2000, Sachin is one of the long standing members of Daffodil. Very early in his role, Sachin shone with his contributions in the areas of product development, sales generation, marketing collateral development and customer service.

Since then, Sachin has gone from strength to strength, and now he serves as the Director - Strategy & Business Development, a role wherein he plays a key role towards defining and execution of the organizational business strategy, promotion and global sales activities.

He has also identified, pursued and generated many new business opportunities during this stint, thus expanding the client base. Multi-faceted, he maintains close coordination with clients as well as with Daffodil's delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of projects. During the preceding decade, Sachin has added further value to Daffodil using his skills with Internet Marketing, Online Advertising and Social Media Marketing.

His capabilities are supported by a firm educational grounding, as Sachin holds a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kanpur University and Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications (BCA) from Kurukshetra University.
